What is the painting about? What is its meaning?

Against the backdrop of the raging wildfires that swept across the island in 2025, a translucent figure emerges - a symbol of a wandering spirit. For some, it represents the spirit of nature itself, while for others it may carry a different sacred meaning.

This image bends the very space around it, and through its prism we see the future: green shoots, the return of the forest, the healing of the land after devastating fires. It speaks of hope for rebirth and the fragility of the ecosystem.

At the core of the work lie photographs of the Troodos Mountains and nature, which I, as the artist, took myself to preserve a personal connection and emotional memory of the place.
